Hi everyone, heres week 4. Decided to stick with a square for those wanting to piece them all together later on.

Flower Granny Square

It does have a decrease for those that are beginners - http://crochet.about.com/library/bl_decrease.htm
Row 5 is the row where you make it into a square - just in case you are a bit confused.
Should be 6"x6" when finished.

I was just working off the Rav PDF and thought I'd clarify something in case others are :eh:
Round 2 as above, should be
ch 3, 1 dc into same stitch as ch 3, ch 3 *2 dc, ch 3*
or (remove the "as") ch 3, 1 dc into same stitch, ch 3, *2 dc, ch 3*
otherwise there's no spacing between 1st & 2nd groups (the above instructions both say the same thing, I'm just trying to deconstruct to decide what the typo/error may have been.

I'm, on round 5 now and am :eh: It's been a big day with a very early start, so I think I'll call it a night and look at it afresh tomorrow morning.

I was a bit confused when i did mine - thought it was just me not reading the pattern quite right. I had to undo mine and start again - 2nd time i knew what it was meant to look like so just made it how it should look :smt044 . Thanks for correcting/clarifying things.

It needs a bit of blocking I think, I may have done it a bit tight.

I've finished my first one now, I don't know what round 5 had me so stumped (I think I was expecting to multiple increases into one stitch, I didn't read it as "one thing for each stitch")

I did an outer row of dcs rather than scs and have a finished 5" size, yay!

Having a look on the Rav projects list, I LOVE this variation http://www.ravelry.com/projects/craftym ... nny-square I think I'll have a play with my next one...

 so the grey yarn is lighter weight than the orange  I think I can manipulate them to be about the same size to fit though ;)
