Wow, what an awesome idea!
I might set myself a goal of 1 sewn item a week, and 1 pattern a month, hopefully life will be less hectic than it was last term!

Just added a couple more - dyeing playsilks (I am doing that right now, had them here for aaaaages), and a quiet book. My NY resolution should be less procrastinating! I make things so much harder in my head than they actually are.

I am going to finish redoing my sewing room. Nearly there - maybe a couple more hours, and I need to sell my desk that's in there before it will be finished. It now has a lovely big cutting table and another big table for my machines.

Then I have to do a quilt for my niece, one for B, a raincoat for B and C, and an advent calendar for next Christmas. And I have a box of mending and two boxes of abandoned WIPs. There will be lots more but I'm not planning it yet. Knitting - I started a jersey for C, so had better finish that before winter.

I've made a list of everything I want to have knitted this year, mostly in time for winter for the boys things!

Little Hoodlum
Scrappy top, Possibly an explorer vest?

Ollie:

Young Einstein
Tama
2x Longies
Explorer Vest
Little Hoodlum (possibly with a hood)
Mossy Sweater

Me!

Finish my Ictis shawl

Gifts:
Headband for flatmate
scarf for Mum
Mitts for Lainy
and a couple of baby gifts planned as well...

This year I want to get the sewing machine out more! My big plan is to pretty up the house a bit as it looks like we won't be moving in a while!! (The plan was to buy a bigger house before the quakes! Not gonna happen now as we are on the eastern side  ) So I need to make the the most of what we have :D

I plan on doing up the big boys room-
-cover drawers in fabric
-new curtains (I hate sewing curtains..so will buy if I can! )
-book slings
-drawer shelves backed with fabrics
-quilts ..I have a few ideas just need to get onto it!!
-random drawer nobs as hangers for kids bags

Our room-
-book sling
-cover drawers
-curtains (as above will try to buy before making them!)
-maybe upcycled throw for the bed/quilt

Would love to do do a photo gallery down the hallway but because of all the earthquakes have put it off :( Thinking of doing photo blocks instead..but I love old frames! Maybe I will do photo blocks with oversized frames around them.

Art hanging area for the kids art

Clothing for me and the kids!

Then there are lots of gift ideas stashed away as well!!

I'm doing a sewing course this year so I will hopefully make some stuff for me!! \:D/

I need to make 2 pairs of shorts in the next 5 days
Make a cover for my Kindle
A full petticoat for under my 50's style full circle skirt
A 50's dress
Winter coat from an Ottobre pattern using some Wool Melton
Dye, spin and knit something large
Knit more socks and shawls to reduce stash.

To actually do some craft, instead of look at things online, and only getting that far!

*First on my list is to set up the craft room! Yay boys are sharing, and i have my little den back.

*Finish all my WIP stuff in the bag

*Make some cushion covers

*Start knitting again

i just went through and added everything I have planned to my queue on rav and matched it up with stash yarn... I think I may have to buy more yarn 8-[ \:D/ I figure if I get through all the ones I have planned with stash yarn I'll certainly deserve to buy more for the rest :smt044
