Why don't you look at the ones at the Sugar Sewing place. Will give you an idea of what to look for. Someone I know has one from there and says it works well.
I'm pretty sure they are set up so you can have a play, then you would know if certain set-ups bugged you or not.
Otherwise I have no idea at all.
God never gives you more than you can handle - I just wish I wasn't such a strong person!
I saw they have a new one for $1399 but thats really out my price range.. do they do second hand too? .. might have to bike down there tomorrow for a looksie.
Don't know if they do second hand. I figure it's always good to get the feel of what something feels like and have something to compare to before you buy

I don't really know anything about them but when I mentioned them to my mum she did say they sew MUCH faster than normal domestic machines (which put me right off as I'm no good at high speed sewing )

True eh. I should go down and give them a try. Might put me off the idea altogether when I realise how complicated they are LOL
