I have been looking on and off at getting an industrial coverstitch machine... does anyone have any advice or tips?
It would be second hand :D

Why don't you look at the ones at the Sugar Sewing place. Will give you an idea of what to look for. Someone I know has one from there and says it works well.

I'm pretty sure they are set up so you can have a play, then you would know if certain set-ups bugged you or not.

Otherwise I have no idea at all.

Don't know if they do second hand. I figure it's always good to get the feel of what something feels like and have something to compare to before you buy :D

I don't really know anything about them but when I mentioned them to my mum she did say they sew MUCH faster than normal domestic machines (which put me right off as I'm no good at high speed sewing :hide: )

True eh. I should go down and give them a try. Might put me off the idea altogether when I realise how complicated they are LOL
