Microfleece vs suedecloth

Microfleece vs suedecloth

Postby charstar » Wed Apr 18, 2012 8:57 pm

Just wanting opinions about your preference. So far I have only made nappies with microfleece and Im having trouble with smell and the fleece seems to be thinning fast, though I don't have a lot yet so have a quick turnover with lots of washing.
Going to make my next batch in the next month or so, so am wondering if I buy some suedecloth instead. I buy from Greenbeans and there prices at $10 for suede pm and $7.90 for fleece pm.
Thoughts please and thank you

Suede cloth generally isn't as stretchy, so the microfleece nappies will fit longer :)
But it does stay looking better.

Yep, would agree. If you just want to try it out, why not look to see if they have any small pieces in the off cuts (or whatever it's called) section of the site, or maybe someone one here would sell you a small piece.
