Silicone mold putty

Has anyone used any silicone mold putty for making molds? I need some but only a little bit and the only stuff I can find is in a 3/4 lb worth for $50 but I dont need anywhere near that much. Does anyone know where you can buy a smaller amount?

What are you using it for and do you actually need it to set?
Depending on your application you may be able to use silicon putty earplugs - for something that is not too detailed you can get quite a good impression, but it's not permanent obviously.

Oh should have included that I do need it to set... I've made a number of buttons lately and am loving it, and wanting to do it more but tracing and cutting circles isn't fun when you do it lots I have 2 molds from etsy but they are quite small, they only seem to have tiny and large on there!

Thanks for your replies, I saw that at both places, and I wondered if it set solid or flexible? Because I couldn't work that out from reading the back. When using it for small things, its easier to be a flexible mold otherwise i'll ruin it just by trying to fish it out iykwim! I'd be interested for sure if it sets flexible! I got some liquid stuff from trademe which has been working OK but its messy and really hard to get the finished product looking good.
