Real Nappy events in Tauranga??

Real Nappy events in Tauranga??

Postby legz » Mon Jan 29, 2007 7:33 pm

Any plans for Tauranga yet?

Or ideas even??

I had an idea that maybe we could do something at Koffee Kulture at Papamoa. They are already open to the idea of nappies (apparently a plunket nurse was the person who left the Fuzzibunz brochures in there, according to the guy who owns (??) it)
And they have already hosted a big event at Christmas time too, bouncy castle and the works apparently!
At least they have a playground :D

Any other ideas people :?: :batman:

Not sure what i can do. We are moving and are a little bit in limbo about where we are moving to. I can certainly pass on the demo kit for whatever gets planned.

In fact, would anyone like to take over control of the demo kit? (pending CC OKing it, would have to be a well-known, trusted member, etc). I don't like the thought of it sitting here so much and not being seen. I am kidding myself if I think I can do it justice (as I haven't so far), so are there any takers?? Please!!

We are moving to the Mount...It's a Mission!!! I'm sure you know ALL about that tho Sarah!!

I feel bad for not being able to commit to anything for RNW too, but I have to put other things first at this point in time. Sorry guys!

I am hoping some enthusiatic soul is going to volunteer to take over the demo kit...pretty please!! 8-)

Hey Sarah, could you maybe make up a little book or even a poster showing all the types of materials you stock? I thought that might look good...

I don't have any ideas yet on what would be good to do.
Maybe a table of nappies, a raffle (but we would need to get nappy related prizes). Maybe some samples and info from some of the WAHMs.

Or maybe just a public nappichino with the nappies displayed would be enough (I get the feeling that all of us are willing to help where possible, but none of us have the energy to take charge!!)

There is something like this in the demo kit. Not sure how up-to-date it is now though...
