Jamtots Berry Plush AIO

Post by sphanges » Sat Jan 13, 2007 12:57 pm

I just got my mitts on 3 of these and I am so in love with them. They are the SOFTEST fabric I have ever felt. If you've felt the inside of a Snazzi So Soft, you'll know the type of fabric I mean, but this has it all over!

The shell is PUL on the inside and plush fabric on the outside. The soaker is a snap in one so very quick drying, and it's hemp with the same plush fabric on top for the stay-dry layer. It's side snapping and surprisingly trim when it's on, as I thought it might be slightly bulky because of the fabric and PUL outer - definjitely as trim as a pocket with a prefold. And it makes Rose SO CUDDLY (as if she wasn't cuddly enough already :) )

I got mediums and they fit well although the smalls probably would have fitted Rose too but not for long.. she's 3 months and about 6-7kg, quite a chunky girl especially in the thighs.

Ths fabric is so delicious you won't be able to stop yourself.. I was only going to get one but couldn't help myself when I got to touch them.

At the moment I think the only NZ seller is Snazzipants.

Cheers

This is a really stuipid question, but when you wash off the poo do the little bits get caught in the outter fabric at all? Or is her poo a little more solid now?

Would these be good for a night nap?

I guess it depends on your child and what works for them. If you've used wraps at night before and they've worked, then yep this would be fine (as it's essentially a wrap with attached insert), but you'd probably need to boost it a bit. My kids wet too heavily at night for wraps so I haven't tried it overnight.

I've just got my hands on a couple of these too. I loooooooove them.
They have been long awaited, but way worth it.

They are the dream nappy in my opinion, it's like someone jumped in my head and took all the things I'd like to see in a nappy and put them altogether. With some extra bits.....

You'll love this nappy I'm sure. I keep patting my boys.... and so do they....
A bit expensive outlay, but with extra soakers it actually works out to be a pretty cost efficient system.

I'm loving them.
My boys are down to sleep right now for the first time wearing them. I'll report back how they go. No extra boosting.... fingers crossed.

I am in love! It's like having a teddy bear for a butt! I bought the gremlins one each and they are seriously the cutest! They seem pretty functional too - they had them on 3+ hours including a nap and ride home in the car and no leaks. The snaps are a little confusing, but then I haven't used side snaps before.

Am definitely thinking more... :D

Received mine this week, my 15mth daughter has worn her medium one twice now and we both love it. Nice and trim, so soft and love the snap in hemp soaker/insert as very absorbent already and dries nice and fast. Think I might be getting more of these in the future....

how do these wash up? can you wash them with your normal nappy load or do they have to be washed a certain way? (thinking of the plush outer fabric) because of the price i would hate to buy one and have it go through a few washes and it looks icky, if you know what i mean, so i would love to know how it washes!

but i must admit i was VERY tempted last week at the WCC nappy launch to get one, i hummmmed and haaared, lol but i thought i would just see if its worth the money first :)

thanks!

My girls have 4 between them and have been wearing them pretty much constantly (older sister gets to choose which nappies they wear at each change and these are her current fave choice - I can't blame her!) and they seem to wash up fine. I wash them with my normal load. I also have a couple of extra soakers so they get 2 wears out of each one IYGWIM.

yeah I put it in with all my other nappies (which are various AIO's and hemp inserts) and it washes up fine as well.

I had sworn and declared I wouldn't buy Duncan any more nappies but I just couldn't resist buying one of these to see what they're like and IT'S TRUE NAPPY LOVE :smt050
I have a tall and lanky 2 year old, and a large fits him beautifully with room to grow and it has a nice high rise which is sometimes an issue for us.
Not only does it feel amazingly soft and nice and fit well, it also does a great job...nothing even close to a leak after 3 hours on my heavy wetter. I love that you can buy extra snap in soakers, I just took an extra soaker out with us and could change him without having to carry extra bits. The hemp seems to be really absorbent, especially since I wouldn't consider it 'washed in' properly yet. Washed up perfectly after use too, which was one of my concerns. Now I just need to work out how I can justify buying some for the next bub!
