Well my nappies finally arrived today - 10 days after she said they were posted :? So who knows what happened to the mail between Christchurch and Auckland - never known it to be that slow.

Anyways I have all my nappies now - just won't be using this company again!!!

Wow, that is suprising that she can be playing with the big guns...ie Baby Factory, bet she doesn't want to P*** them off!!! I still really want some of her dress up costumes, they seem such a great price...but I only want them at a great price if they turn up!!!

I was sure she was distributor for Pea Pods - I heard ages ago (I think it was from Amy herself on posts on that Christian site we had going for a while) that she was looking into getting nappies into The Baby Factory. That is why I thought she was the importer/distributor.

So the word is to basically avoid Mommy's Touch, Pea Pods and Swaddlebees? Some people are going to find that difficult! Luckily I love NZ made WAHM nappies so don't think I will have a problem.

"I can assure you that no-one has sole distributor rights within New Zealand and we deal directly with many businesses. Consumers are encouraged to deal with retailers that they trust."

this is from Daryl at peapods, Australia

Little bit Sad

Post by Mommapalmer » Sat May 05, 2007 2:08 pm

I'm a little bit sad to see this sort of nonsense going on in a forum were it clearly says no baging of people. I think it is getting a bit to personal and will be making a complaint to the network about this bad behaviour
I would suggest if you are a buisness trying to pull down another buisness be very carefull! As it will come back to bite you on the bum!!

Little bit Sad

Post by Mommapalmer » Sat May 05, 2007 2:17 pm

It is sad to see that a nappy forum becomes a firing line for a small NZ company. I've worked in retail sales before and you can not clearly please everyone you can do your best but you are always going to get (those) sorts out there who are just utter nutters. I say good for Amy for doing so well with what she has. And if you are not happy then dont buy form her but dont be so mean. Also if you are posting these nasty remarks and are a buizness and you know who you are be very careful!!
it doesn't bode well

Hi Mommapalmer, given the history of this topic on TNN I suggest you do an intro in the intro section as requested before wading in.
Lisa, mama to Maya, no more nappies here!

I got a nappy recently and found that it was of very poor quality and the leg gussets did not hold my sons explosive motion. For me if a nappy contains then it is worth its weight in gold!!
I have complained about this four weeks ago and still have had no response. I will certainly not buy from them again!! As i thought i was getting a good quality nappy. Very Sad Mum
a quote from MommaPalmer on another thread.

I have used Mummies Touch and find that they are good when you know how to use them properly.
Another quote from "MommaPalmer"

Did you see the reply from Rachael (the nappy-maker mommapalmer is talking about)
Sorry to hear about your nappy, I am a little concerned as this is the first complaint about any of my products. I have no received an email from you so please send it again and I will happy to sort out any issues you have.

Just too suspicious to me.

I thought there were new rules about posting on review threads without a certain post count under you belt? :smt017 Specifically because of issues like this. But I agree with above -- post an intro so we can say hi and welcome before specially pick out the *exciting* threads to post on.
