Purple Patch - Hamilton

Post by Mel » Sat May 12, 2007 6:44 pm

I know a few of you TNNers know about this store but just in case!

Purple Patch is this lovely store in town on ummm ( cant remeber the street) its by garden place. The have loads of woollen gear and their prices are very good
(I got a nice soft 100% wool size 3 singlet for $10, the wool alone would of cost me more then that if i was to make it!).
They also do wooden toys, knitted toys, waikato gear, dolls clothes. Etc etc.

and all profits are donated to charity

and your supporting locals by buying there instead of a big company importing from china.

and the ladies in there are really nice.

and the little wee clothes are so cute!!

(oh and Kimber they have 100% wool socks in all sizes, well they did till i took all the toddler sizes, but if you ask Im sure they will get more in I think I paid $6 a pair really well made too)

There is also a Purple Patch in Chch - down Ferry Road in Woolston, that stocks similar items at similar prices. A great place to stop and check out :D
