Dont you love a good bargain!

My sister in UK gave me this gorgeous next top for christmas which has been sitting here waiting for me to wear but I had nothing to go with it except some long white trousers - and its way to hot for them! yesterday i found a bit of fabric in the remnant bin at fabric barn for $2 enough to make a skirt that goes fabulously! I'm so excited! Cant wait for sunday so i can wear them both to church! The skirt is dress up or down- able but the top is too dressy for ordinary wear.

Gotta love those remnant bins!

While in KMart today I was looking at bras - just happened to walk past the clearance rack and there were 2 maternity bras my size for $2.50 each (had dust marks on them). Because of the 20% off sale I got them for $2 each. What a bargain!

I just love it when I find the "perfect" thing for a steal!

Looking forward to seeing a photo of your skirt.

B and I did the op shops today - both got lots of things we really loved, felt like we got a really good haul, you know that "i've had a great shopping morning" feeling - and to acheive that we spent 20c in one shop, $3.70 in the next and $4.80 in the 3rd!! Bargain! :D

I also love a bargain! I think I got my bargain of the year today! The local Red Cross shop had a 50cent sale (all items 50 cents).

I got a single duvet for DD's bed (which we have not got yet but it is in the pipeline! Nothing like planning ahead). It is a Fairydown 50% down 50% feather. Awesome!
SAHM -breast-feeding, sling wearing, co-sleeping and possibly learning to sew nappies! (Starting with accessories at the moment, but who knows where we will end up!) We currently have one daughter (Briar - 7/9/04)

It seems there are bargins to be had all around us....

I was looking through the Local Salvation Army Family Store the other day,
For some baby clothes for my SIL...having baby number 4 and most of her baby clothes are worn and tatty....so I'm on the lookout for some good secondhand stuff.

...and picked up a brand new with tags...woolen baby singlet...long sleaves....

Guess how much......50 cents!!! could not beleive my eyes.....
So my SIL will have a warm bub this winter....

Did spend $10, but came away with 7 items...some PP, and others Teeny Weeny brand....but all in excellent condition.

Very pleased.
