Popit Pocket Nappies

Disclosure: Amy the designer is a friend of mine - so you need to decide for yourself how to take my comments lol  :D

She is a fashion designer and has spent the past year developing her nappy and Em has been lucky enough to trial it for her.

What I like...... The back casing fits snuggly against bubba's back and I have had no problem with wing droop (which is a major thing for us and why we don't normally use front snapping nappies).

They do come with microfibre inserts which are sewn into pads and they do work well but I'm such a creature of habit and prefer my prefolds  (I think I prefer the obviously rounded cloth bum but if you are after a trimmer nappy the microfibre pads are definitely trim)
Em isn't a heavy wetter and 3 of the pads were fine for overnight for her (but once again creature of habit and i generally use my bamboo trifolds in this pocket at night - sorry Amy  )

I think because the pads are sewn they make a trimmer nappy.

Anyway I've told Amy to come out of hiding (she is a lurker 8-) ) and introduce herself so lets see what happens

And yes that is my Emily on the home page :D

Ooooh nice. Might just need to get some now I've sold off a few that weren't working for us. Wing droop is HUGE for us and these look great for that wee problem

my Popit nappy (in red, very cool!) arrived the other day, i quickly washed it ready to wear, i am very impressed with the fit of this nappy, the size Medium fits my daughter really well at 8.6kgs (see the gallery for pics) with tonnes of room to grow, it contained a rather mushy poo very well and the waistband makes it fit really snuggly

very cool nappy, well done Amy!
