Hi all

Need some input into a location that would suit you to come. Lyttleton has been one suggestion.

Ideas of alternate venues appreciated too. :D

As per other thread, Lyttleton on a Sat is a good idea. Being that the market is on I personally would hit both. If you have great signage you will get people coming who didn't know it was on.
You could have people at the market with fliers direction people there too.

I voted Riccarton as that is closest to me and it is fairly central.

Personally I wouldn't go to Lyttleton. Its too far for us. I voted Riccarton but just cos its closest. I guess where ever gets the most exposure to parents.

I've finally voted.

Chc Sth is really close & convenient.

But, I voted Lyttleton on the condition that it would be a Saturday as suggested - we could do a family trip for it. Could we actually get a stall for the Market? (It would be a shame to be hidden away in a building not seen).

Riccarton would be ok too.

Heres a link to the farmers market organizers if we want to utilise this area.
http://www.lyttelton.net.nz/lfm/
The Rec centre is very close to the school where the market is. If we don't utilize the market we could definitely have signs directing patrons to the centre.
Hope this helps. Do we have a committee, do we need one. I think theres only 8 weeks till RNW.

Is there any reason why we cant do both a lyttleton and a town event? (apart from getting enough ppl willing to organise/run events)

Did occur to me that if we organised a market type event that could do it at Lyttleton on Saturday and Riccarton on Sunday. Just the same thing in two places.
