Mel & I have a Gail for a Mum, so that may be your Gail donation? (if so, her username is "Emsgran" ;))

With a day like today brrr!, do you have a nice beanie/scarf lined up?

Hi there

Postby EmsGran » Tue Dec 09, 2008 5:43 pm

Yes I am Gail....if you want to PM Mel your phone number and time we will phone you Christmas day and support you through it all! 8-)
Actually this is a very brave and grand thing - I could not do it and I am sure there are many that would say the same - so we are the ones putting our money in to SAVE OUR HEADS or should I say HAIR!
I hope it all goes well for you and you more than double your target!
I will put your link on my website too, so we can get as much coverage as possible, maybe others would be happy to do this also... :?:

I lost my Dad to lung cancer. And I have nursed others with it too - It is a dreadful disease and a horrible way to die. It is wonderful that you are doing what you can.
Let me know if there's anything more I can do... :D

Chantelle you are so awesome doing this! I will admit it...I am way too vein!So anyway I was having a we think about it cos we are broke with all our xmas spending this year  I am going to make something to sell and donate the money to this fantastic cause! Also Hannah and I have another idea that we will get back to you about

My brother has had cancer of his kidney which was removed, and then we found out it had spread to his lungs. I was only little when I saw my tiny brother going through chemo, radiation, and ops, etc. It was devastating on our family being told he only had 6mnths to live  (By a miracle he is still here today!) :D But we saw a lot of families that weren't so lucky :cryb: Ok I can't write about it..I might start crying! My favourite Auntie, and Nan both died of bowl cancer too..sob
