PR help needed /wanted for Te Awhina. PROGRESS UPDATE PG 1
Okies. So I have an enormous suitcase and two big plastic bins full of nappies sitting in my room and nowhere for them to go! I have approached my wellchild provider liason officer and she was keen but haven't heard from her since so I need to get some decent brochures as I could send them to midwives etc. I would like to register as a charitable organisation but simple don't have the cash and I'm not sure where else to go with this. I'm open to all kinds of suggestion and inspiration.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Hey hun I'd like to help out too.
I'm not much good on the art side but would like to help somehow... hmmm... why dont you look at a freewebs or similar website for te awhina and business cards as an option? with a gmail or hotmail acc specifically for it? Can you do regular posts in the charity section or wahm section?
How much $$ for registering? would be happy to make something to auction off for te awhina...

I spoke to an accountant a while back about registered charities, with a view to getting the ball rolling, so we could apply for postage grants etc. Basically she said that for all the paperwork and fees, for a group of our size it's not worth it. She said that you might be able to get an accountant to do the pro bono though. You have to have a board of directors etc. There is an info site somewhere.

Have been getting some action on the Te Awhina front
-MY bestie who works for a law firm just scored me a lawyer who will work pro bono setting up the trust etc. Woop woop.
Have had lots of awesome pics and logos from fabbo TNNers which I have forwarded to my SIL Sarah Davis (anyone seen the childrens book Mending Lucille-she does the illustrating and is up for an award for it.) and she is going to help me with the logo. I'm also planning to get her to help me with the brochure but she doesn't know that yet
.
Thanks so much guys.
