Knitted washable sanitary pad

Post by capelbach » Sun Sep 26, 2010 3:13 pm

Hi
I'm not doing a "formal" test for these, but I would love some people to test them for me? Both the actual knitting pattern, and then let me know how you get on. I made mine to go with my post partem pad stash, but as I'm breastfeeding at the moment, I haven't tried them since. The pattern is (and will remain) a free one, but I will make any changes necessary, as they are suggested. So, if you fancy knitting yourself a few cloth pads, and then letting me know a how you found the pattern, and b how you found the pad (inc your prefered yarn choice) then that would be great.

The pattern is here: https://sites.google.com/site/littleduc ... e/mama-pad
And is also on Ravelry, if you do make one, and are on Ravelry yourself, then I'd love it if you linked your project to the pattern.

Thank you :D I'm quite pleased with it myself, and looking forward to making some more for myself in the future, (although, not the reason why I'll need to make them)

I don't have any cotton at the moment, but I'm keen to try the pattern

Fantastic, well when you do get some, and get chance to give it a go, then let me know how you get on. I have wondered if it would work in something other than cotton too, although I'm not sure what....
