Hire Kits, the low down.
Hire kits are generally non profit kits with enough nappies to allow
the hirer to use cloth fulltime. They usually contain a mixture of commercial
brands and homemade nappies to allow the hirer to try different styles
and brands. Most hire kits are for newborn babies, but some larger ones
are available.
The kits below are listed by the area in which the kit owner is located,
but most are available to hirers from any area.
The following list is provided by TNN as a service only - we do not endorse any of the kits listed below, nor can we guarantee the information is correct or up to date. Please check all details with your hirer before commencing your hire.
North Island

the Whangarei/ Dargaville areas but will send further afield at your

those first few weeks. Also a few premmie clothes that go with the

short notice.

Kete Kope kits contain a huge selection of both NZ made and imported
locally available nappies. Lots of the nappies are bright funky
colours (gender neutral). Numbers of nappies may vary slightly as new
brands are added...
An
extra stash of small nappies is available if you hire the kit after
bub is born or if you that doesn't fit newborn size. Smalls are
sometimes sent with the medium kit too if your baby is almost fitting
the medium size but not quite!

other nappies for the first few weeks. Sizing differs between brands
but most nappies fit 4.5-8kg approx.
