PIMP THAT NAPPY COMPETITION
Celebrate Real Nappy Week 2008 with Style

Step One: Find a useable nappy (new, used, handmade, brought, or recycled)

Step Two: Pimp it - but keep it functional. Covers must still be waterproof, nappies must still be absorbant etc... Remember Guys wouldn't pimp a car that they couldn't drive, we don't pimp nappies that can't be worn.

Step Three: Post a Picture to TNN. TNN Forum members can post directly into the Pimp that Nappy Gallery, non-members are welcome to email a link to the photo of their entry (additional details below) which will then be displayed into the Gallery.

Step Four: Donate the nappy OR a substitute item to Te Awhina*.
(substitute items might include items such as inserts, prefolds, snappis etc or a prize for the competition).

Prizes!
1st Place Girls Nappy wins a prize from Outrageous Pads
1st Place Boys Nappy wins a prize from Eden Skincare

  • Entries Close Midnight 20th April 2008
  • Any additional categories and spot prizes to be announced on the first page of the Gallery.
  • A shortlist for the main prizes will be determined by a panel of 5 The Nappy Network Forum Members and a vote will be taken on The Nappy Network Forum.
  • Winners will be contacted by email or private message on the forum.
  • Entry is open to all New Zealand residents including The Nappy Network Committee, Forum Members and Competition organisers.
  • Competition organisers may not vote for their own nappy to be included in any shortlist or prizes.
  • This competition is organised by The Nappy Network Volunteers, we reserve the right to amend the rules or postpone the competition.

*Te Awhina is a donation driven scheme offering free loan-kits of cloth nappies to needy families. Along with the nappy kits is included: information on subsidies, long term lay-by offers, and information on the costs (and savings!) of home-made and store bought cloth nappies.
More information on  Te Awhina can be found here.
